WHAT THE FUCK I LISTENED TO YESTERDAY

Another one. Forever. Let's get into it.

AXJ - CALM DOWN

I don't do submissions. At all. I get them a lot in my email but I usually don't check them. This artist submitted this to me and for some reason I checked it out and I actually liked what I heard. A song about the hypocrisy in this fucked up country we're living in. From police getting away with murder pretty much everyday to how a black life isn't worth a penny in AmeriKKKa. In the words of Chris Rock "If it's all white, it's alright." We see that shit everyday. Dope track by AxJ.

SEALS - ZEN

Pic funny as fuck lmao. Anyway, I play this shit everyday. I HAVE to hear this in the morning. I rarely have bad days because I don't give a shit bout shit but writing. If I can't write then it's a bad day. Zen just puts me in a great mood, gets me motivated to work and of course I'm a dancing ass St.Louis nigga so I be jiggin to this shit. I like how Seals incorporated his physical art into his aural art. The production is super smooth with the right level of bass. Track full of fucking quotes to live by. I WAS THE 1000TH PLAY ON SOUNDCLOUD TOO. THANK ME SEALS! POLITE!

WATCHMEJUSTJUGGANDGOGETIT!

ZADO - HARD BODY

On TyYouGenius production Zado lyrically skates over a beat that sounds like something Cam'Ron would rap over in 2003. Just punchline after punchline, wordplay, and some real shit. Definitely lives up to the tracks name.

J'DEMUL - COME UP

J'Demul is coming up and true to J'Demul's nature he's not worried about the praise. He's worried about his reality. He lyrically reminisces about fallen friends from the streets and prison and how he has a lot more on the line so the verses aren't free anymore. He's still in the streets so until he's blessed to get out of them and make sure his family is good then maybe he might be phased by the praise.

BARI ALLEN - JETPAKK

Monte Booker on the production. Bari provides the wave. Another Zero Fatigue jam for the streets. From the sound of it Bari can give you buckets with his left hand. Always will write his own shit so no reference track needed, and old hoes still linger. Life is great when the jetpakk is involved.

VANACANA - MINES

Vanacana has called "Shotgun." They've called shotgun on yo bitch from nightfall until the sun come up. I'm assuming she's yours again during normal office hours so she's not completely gone. She's like Red's bike. She ours but you can keep her down at your house. Play this at Follies or Magic City one time.

FELLS - 2F2D

Smooth raps on this joint. "It's time to get distinct with this shit tighten up." I fucks with that. This round table with the homies and champagne music. Fells floats over the jazz horns as he enlightens us that his legacy will forever remain therefore he's too fly to die. Fells also has a new joint on his soundcloud page called "Holographic Prophecies 2000" which is also produced by TyYouGenius. Check that out too.

KIANAFITZ - IM A GOOD NOODLE

A new mix from my friendo Kiana. She's been making mixes for a minute but this one is her first jawn on her new controller so this is sort of a new beginning and the start of her being one of the best DJ's ever. Thank you for being such a great person and continue to inspire people like me.
